Requirements
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing automation solutions for AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure using Ansible.
  • Experience administering Linux in cloud environments.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Working knowledge of cloud security, including IAM, Defender for Cloud, or GuardDuty.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, or ScienceLogic.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, subnets, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent substitution of 10 additional years of relevant experience.
  • At least 10 years of work experience, or 20 years of relevant experience when substituting experience for the education requirement.
  • Ability to pass a Tier 4/HIGH Background Investigation.
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and manage scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
  • Administer Linux in cloud environments.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
  • Automate system deployment, configuration, patching, and monitoring using Ansible, SSM, Azure Automation, or similar tools.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Log Analytics.
  • Manage identity and access controls, enforce security best practices, and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Support application teams with cloud infrastructure needs, including networking, performance tuning, and CI/CD integration.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and incident response for critical cloud infrastructure issues.
Desired Qualifications
  • AWS or Azure cloud certifications are highly preferred.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud or cloud migration projects.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
  • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
