Maintenance Wet Fire System Technician

The Role
We’re seeking a Maintenance Wet Fire System Technician to deliver service, testing, and installation across Government and Commercial sites in Richmond and the wider NSW area. You’ll travel in a company-supplied vehicle, complete preventative and reactive works on wet fire systems, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Maintain and service Wet Fire Systems & Fire Fighting Equipment to Australian Standards
• Conduct inspections, testing, and servicing of sprinklers, hydrants, hoses & pumps
• Install Wet Fire Systems across Government & Commercial sites
• Isolate fire panels to conduct system testing
• Liaise directly with clients regarding service works
• Assist in preparing customer quotations and identifying remedial work
• Complete and update work orders using a company-provided iPad
• Ensure compliance with WHSE standards, codes, and BGIS systems
Your Education, Experience & Skills
• Certificate III in Fire Protection (desired)
• Demonstrated experience with Wet Fire Systems
• Understanding of AS1851-2012 and AS2118 standards
• Ability to test, repair, and install fire systems and equipment
• FPAS accreditation (highly regarded)
• Current driver’s licence (mandatory)
• Strong communication and client liaison skills
• Full working rights in Australia (essential)
• Must be an Australian Citizen (due to clearance requirements)
