Applied Materials Corporate Strategy and Market Intelligence (SMI) team is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2023, as the company navigate its next phase of growth.

A summer internship in SMI is an opportunity for an intern to develop semiconductor industry and financial modelling skills including:

• Analysis of industry landscape and competitive dynamics
• Identify key business performance improvement opportunities
• Develop and maintain industry and company specific financial models and theses
• Prepare impactful charts in excel to articulate and support key thesis elements with data

Requirements

• Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in business, finance, accounting or related discipline
• Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above
• Demonstrated interest and experience in financial analysis and modeling in excel

Compensation

$25 - $35 per hour

The rate offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
