Redwood Materials specializes in recycling lithium-ion batteries to create domestic sources of anode and cathode materials. By repurposing used batteries, the company reduces the need for overseas procurement, which is costly and environmentally harmful. This focus on sustainability sets Redwood Materials apart from competitors, as they provide U.S. cell manufacturers with a more efficient supply chain solution. The goal is to support the growing demand for batteries while minimizing the environmental impact of battery production.
