POSITION OVERVIEW
The Assistant Vice President will support a wide range of Treasury Operations functions for the insurance business. The successful candidate must manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment for multiple legal entities while supporting initiatives to enhance the existing functions to meet the rapidly changing needs of the business.
- Manage and develop the daily liquidity reporting
- Approve internal fundings and external payments to third parties
- Expand connectivity between Kyriba and Global Atlantic’s banking partners
- Oversee third party servicers banking capabilities
- Develop and maintain centralized processes to handle reporting initiatives including ad hoc requests
- Participate in company-wide initiatives/projects to improve processes and infrastructure including workflow automation, liquidity reporting, and variance analysis
- Prepare and present materials to Senior Management and external counterparties
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree required with a minimum of 7 years work experience in a Treasury or Financial Operations Role
- Knowledge of treasury systems (i.e. Kyriba or other banking platforms) is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Visio
- Proactively addresses issues that may impact outcome of initiatives
- Prior experience implementing financial controls in compliance with SOX a strong plus
- Prior experience with Tableau a strong plus
- Prior experience in insurance industry a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to identify, communicate, and resolve key issues
- Positive attitude even when faced with difficult obstacles, issues or challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercial mind set with an entrepreneurial spirit

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office.
Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives. The base salary range for this role is $95,000 to $181,000.
