Equip Health, a virtual eating disorder treatment provider, raised $47 million in equity, bringing its total funding to $156 million, as per SEC filings. The Carlsbad, CA-based company had 11 investors in this round, starting on July 22. Actress Kerry Washington is an investor and advisor. The digital health model addresses challenges in eating disorder treatment, amid rising concerns over fitness culture and weight-loss drugs. The company has not commented on the funding.
