Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of Vicenza, Verona, Padova, and surrounding areas, including their history and culture.
  • Strong communication abilities and the ability to communicate with all levels of command and diverse populations.
  • Physical ability to lead walking tours for several hours.
  • At least 2 years of experience coordinating trips and historical tours in Italy.
  • Fluent (Level 4) proficiency in both English and Italian, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct engaging orientation tours and bi-cultural sessions for military community members.
  • Lead Host Nation Orientation sessions.
  • Conduct three-day Benvenuti Cultural Integration sessions monthly.
  • Create and maintain detailed tour plans for walking tours of Vicenza, Verona, Padova, and alternate locations.
  • Share knowledge of Italian history, customs, culture, and practical living information.
  • Manage groups of up to 20 attendees.
  • Adapt tour content based on customer feedback and coordination with the COR.
