In 2021, Samsung announced a new facility in Taylor, Texas, where it plans to invest a minimum $17 billion in the build-out. The site spans 1,200+ acres and the first phase of development will have 4.7 million square feet of floor space consisting of a cluster of semiconductor manufacturing buildings such as a fab, office, parking garage, central utility building, and special utility supply facilities. The Taylor facility will boost the production of semiconductor solutions that will power next-generation technologies in areas like 5G, artificial intelligence (AI) and high performance computing.

Specific Job Duties:
As a CORP Engineer, you will:
• Transition: Participate in multi-week orientation aimed to smooth college-to-career transition
Learn: Receive robust technical training on semiconductor fabrication and manufacturing principles
• Explore: Rotate through multiple engineering departments and get a front row seat into Samsung Austin Semiconductor
• Network: Form professional and personal relationships with peers via social and volunteering events that can last a lifetime!
After training is complete, our engineers begin working in one of the following departments:
• Fab Engineering
• Infra Technology (Facilities)
• Manufacturing and Yield
• Production & Systems
• Customer Quality

Shift: 1st shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Skills and Qualifications:
Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required
BS or MS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, Environmental, Safety, and Civil), Material Science, Computer Science, Construction Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Math
• Cumulative GPA Minimum: 3.0
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
• Willing to relocate to central Texas (Austin area)
• Start Date Availability: Winter 2025 or Summer 2025
