Requirements
  • Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.
  • Must be planning on graduating in 2026. This should be your final internship before graduating.
  • A portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project. If parts of your portfolio are password-protected, please include your portfolio password under 'Additional Questions' when applying.
Responsibilities
  • Work on product teams with minimal supervision and own end-to-end execution of real product features.
  • Be involved at every stage of design work, helping define early product concepts, high-level workflows, and executing visual designs.
  • Conduct informal user research and visit customer offices to interview and learn from users.
  • Collaborate closely with product and forward deployed engineers to prototype and build out products.
  • Have familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Typescript to collaborate with engineers.
Desired Qualifications
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to build great relationships with engineers, PMs, and other stakeholders, and convey and debate design rationale.
  • High empathy and dedication to the user, striving to understand and empower them.
  • Strong ability to iterate through the design process, give and receive critiques, and rapidly incorporate feedback.
  • Willingness to learn and make decisions independently, and the ability to ask questions when needed.
