Position Overview
The Platform Services and Emerging Technologies (PSET) Agile Program Management Office (APMO) Team works across multiple organizations at Autodesk to provide platform solutions to support our subscription customers and internal stakeholders across multiple Autodesk business functions. Technical Program Managers (TPMs) work across many domains and functions (Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, other TPMs) to drive the planning, execution, and delivery of the of the capabilities for these platforms.
As a Technical Program Manager Intern, you would partner with other TPMs in APMO to assist them with the day-to-day activities, tracking Engineering execution and delivery for the initiatives and programs they are managing. You will engage with program teams to establish partnerships with Engineering and Product Management Leads to assist your partner TPM(s) with program tracking and reporting, plus follow-up on action items from program-related meetings. The ultimate goal of this internship will be to develop and support requirements for automation and API-level integration of tracking and reporting, with the goal of minimizing or eliminating duplicate entry of program updates.
Responsibilities
Manage program status tracking and reporting for one or more programs in PSET
Develop REST (RESTful) API solutions to ensure integrated and automated reporting between applications used by TPMs and other program leads
Jira, Confluence wiki, Microsoft SharePoint, ProductBoard
Coordinate between APMO and PSET Portfolio Management team to ensure automated tracking and reporting meets portfolio requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program working toward a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree with an expected graduation date in 2025, or working toward a master’s degree after having received a bachelor’s in Computer Science or related program
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the activities associated with each phase
Strong programming skills, preferred hands-on experience with JavaScript, Python
Experience API-level development is a significant plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills with remote program team members
Jira, Confluence wiki, Microsoft SharePoint, ProductBoard with API-level integration

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.
For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:
- $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
- $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
- $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)
