Responsibilities
  • Sales Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Sales Process Oversight: Ensure adherence to the dealership's sales process and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Foster a customer-centric, hospitality-based culture within the sales department.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure that customers have a positive and memorable experience throughout the sales process.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the purchasing department to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Manage vehicle turn rates and minimize stock obsolescence.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze the department's financial performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability.
  • Manage expenses within budget.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and dealership policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
