Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the pharma, biotech, medical device or diagnostics industry with sales training, field sales, or field sales management experiences a strong plus. Cardiovascular and arrhythmia experience preferred.
  • High competency in collaboration, oral and verbal communication, multi-tasking, planning, process and project management, decision making, and results orientation
  • Up to 30% travel required
Responsibilities
  • Manage the development, delivery, and execution of effective training programs aligned with the commercial strategy and key messages
  • Analyze, design, develop and evaluate training solutions, including interactive instructor-led courses, self-led instruction, and web-based learning modules
  • Create metrics and assess effectiveness of training programs, enhancing, improving, and pivoting as necessary
  • Lead the creation of educationally effective training materials
  • Develop and implement appropriate pull-through plans to ensure continued utilization of learning initiatives
  • Engage and partner with key stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to ensure balanced and well-rounded training initiatives and program development
  • Maintain regular interactions with commercial team members and leadership, initiating training based on field needs and market changes
  • Support the maintenance, iteration, and delivery of the new hire sales training curriculum, including core competencies and objectives that are in alignment with evolving needs of the business
  • Participate in field rides to assess and provide feedback on new and existing Territory Managers
  • Support the New Hire Onboarding manager in supporting the Field Sales Training (FST) program
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with meeting management and ability to structure small- and large-group meetings to achieve pre-defined objectives
  • Self-starter with an ability to identify behavioral and knowledge gaps and develop training to address them
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships throughout all levels of the organization
