Job Description:
Our Montgomery, Alabama facility is a manufacturer of granular pesticide and fungicide products.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for laboratory testing and analysis of raw materials and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform testing, analyze data, identify issues and propose recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Document and report finished product meets prescribed standards.
- Perform activities associated with laboratory equipment preventative maintenance, calibrations and up-keep.
- Assist in the design and implementation of laboratory training programs. Monitor, test and assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment and environmental systems, if applicable.
- Maintain all documentation and recordkeeping associated with laboratory processes and operations. Ensure compliance with all associated regulatory requirements.

- Act as a lead, coordinating the work of others

Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years’ relevant experience required
- Experience with automated laboratory equipment (HPLC, GC)
- Proficiency in office computer software, e.g. word processing, e-mail and spreadsheets
- Must be knowledgeable and proficient in the handling of hazardous materials
- Intermediate capability with computer software such as JMP, Excel, and Word.
Physical Requirements and Working Environment
- Working conditions include laboratory work as well as office work
- Must be able to sit/stand for an extended period of time
- Exposure to dust, chemicals, hazardous materials etc.
