Requirements
  • Undergraduate studies in data or business analytics, computer science, management information, business, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Six or more years of related experience with data extraction, data manipulation, data visualization analysis, problem solving, and working with large databases.
  • In-depth knowledge of business policies and procedures, and customer service concepts and practices.
  • In-depth understanding of and working knowledge of building data visualization and business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to understand business processes and the data produced by them.
  • Understanding of functional and operational measurement needs, analyzing data requests, and interpreting business problems into solutions.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints.
  • Capability to develop distinctive and understandable data visualizations.
Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced data analysis using SQL, Excel, R, and Python to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and measurable outcomes.
  • Provide proactive insight into performance drivers including growth, conversion, retention, claims, and profitability.
  • Support forecasting, scenario modeling, and impact analysis for business initiatives.
  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards and semantic models in Power BI.
  • Develop scalable and efficient data models sourced from Snowflake.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data definitions.
  • Optimize the performance of datasets and visualizations to support premium capacity standards.
  • Partner with data governance and engineering teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Identify data gaps and collaborate on remediation efforts.
  • Maintain documentation of data definitions, calculations, and reporting logic.
  • Support regulatory and compliance reporting as needed.
  • Serve as a trusted analytics advisor to business stakeholders.
  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions and translate needs into analytical deliverables.
  • Present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support strategic initiatives with data-backed recommendations.
  • Improve reporting efficiency through automation and process optimization.
  • Standardize reporting templates and analytical methodologies.
  • Contribute to innovation efforts, including advanced analytics and artificial-intelligence-driven use cases.
  • Extract data from databases, tables, data warehouses, and other sources through R, SAS, SQL, and Python.
  • Develop, produce, and maintain inferential, statistical, ad hoc, and custom analyses and modeling for functional business areas.
  • Build and maintain relationships as a financial and operational measurement resource for clients, internal risk partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Create and present financial and operational results, ensuring that insights are action oriented.
  • Consult with business partners to understand, align, and deliver work that supports business objectives and priorities.
  • Leverage statistical inference when conducting analysis and communicate the significance of findings to business partners.
  • Build business intelligence applications using statistical, database, and general programming languages and tools.
  • Assist associates with preparing reports and using information systems, software, and related information sources, and train users on report preparation and database access.
  • Serve as a single point of contact and consultant for business areas for intake and prioritization of data, reporting, analysis, and advanced statistical work.
  • Lead projects, monitor and review their progress, analyze the external environment, and present findings to customers.
