  • BS degree in computer science, IT, or similar field and 4+ years of relevant IT Business Analyst experience. Experience supporting in Biotech/pharmaceutical strongly preferred
  • Master’s degree in computer science, IT, or similar field and 2+ years of similar experience noted above
  • Demonstrated experience in Commercial Pharmaceutical operations and technologies preferred
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical sector preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial processes such as sales operations, marketing, and market access preferred
  • Able to communicate technical information and work with all levels within the organization ability to be highly organized, self-motivated with the capability to prioritize projects and workload
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills, including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility
  • Excellent skills in defining and documenting processes, requirements, and training materials
  • Previous Pharma experience preferred or a desire to learn in a pharma environment
  • Previous Commercial experience preferred

  • Has strong understanding of processes, procedures and systems used to accomplish the work and recognizes downstream impact on other functional areas

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Business and IT Business Partners to define and document business processes and requirements, including data flow, storage, application usability, reporting, and analytics
  • Participate on project teams and lead small projects to support application implementation, administration, and maintenance
  • Support project management in the implementation of technology solutions according to Neurocrine’s software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Evaluate and recommend process improvements and support the development of processes necessary for successful implementation of key software systems
  • Define, coordinate, and conduct system integration testing to ensure solutions meet requirements and specifications
  • Develop training materials, 'How To's,' and knowledge items to facilitate user adoption of new technology
  • Evaluate and implement additional technologies to enhance the quality of systems across all departments
  • Consult with department representatives to determine data access, reporting, and interface requirements
  • Maintain ongoing communication with department managers to ensure successful implementation of data management and interface tools
  • Conduct data quality analysis as needed for source systems
  • Define standard operating procedures and perform regular reviews for systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
