Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in commercial real estate management and portfolio administration
  • Strong skills in analysis, decision-making, communication, and negotiation
  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, often distributed across Canada
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. You will collaborate regularly with vendors and internal clients across Canada.
  • Availability for occasional travel
Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations related to facility management, lease administration, and real estate projects
  • Conduct regular inspections and follow up with external service providers
  • Ensure safety of property and people, and compliance with regulations and policies (environmental, health, safety)
  • Establish, implement, and enforce company real estate and maintenance policies
  • Oversee critical real estate deadlines (renewals, expirations, terminations)
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators and analyze real estate portfolio performance
  • Provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Manage acquisitions, renovations, relocations, and store closures
  • Prepare and manage the annual capital and operating budget
  • Managing a team of 8 employees, including one direct report.
Desired Qualifications
  • CPM, FRM, or RPA certification is an asset
