Requirements
  • An Associate's Degree with a strong emphasis in natural science or a related scientific field is required.
  • Two to four years of experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or production environment is required.
  • Experience conducting audits and working with regulatory and quality standards is required.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, documentation practices, and root cause analysis is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clearly to all levels of the organization, are required.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills are required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Google Suite, and related systems is required.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct daily activities across various Quality Department functions.
  • Perform quality and compliance audits across production, laboratory, warehousing, compounding, and filling operations.
  • Partner with department leaders to review audit findings, recommend improvements, and track corrective actions to closure.
  • Establish, document, and maintain quality policies, procedures, standard operating procedures, work instructions, and forms.
  • Train and educate employees on quality processes, documentation practices, sanitation, and housekeeping standards.
  • Review and approve Batch Production Records and Master Production Records to ensure compliance.
  • Support change management initiatives, trials, and Engineering/Manufacturing Orders.
  • Investigate quality issues, deviations, and customer complaints; support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action development.
  • Serve as a site-level quality resource during quality-related events or escalations.
  • Manage rework activities and maintain controlled retain rooms.
  • Prepare customer scorecards and assist with sample and finished goods shipments.
  • Create visual job aids and tools to support production teams.
  • Contribute to special quality projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Quality leadership.
