Overview:
As Senior Accountant, you will report to the Treasurer, AP & Statutory Senior Accounting Manager.
You will:
- Conduct monthly and quarterly close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Perform monthly analysis on high-risk vendors and accounts payable subledger.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT filings.
- Facilitate payments and liaise with vendors for specific entities.
- Take on special projects and other day to day bookkeeping.
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of various new systems and processes.
- Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules for quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Interact with external auditors in completing the quarterly reviews and annual audits of the SEC financials and other filings.
- Maintain documentation supporting SOX compliance.
- Assistance with multiple other corporate accounting, financial reporting and technical accounting functions.
You have:
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 1+ years of experience at a large public accounting firm
- Fluent in Hebrew and English
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Israel taxation and SOX regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills (data collection and modeling, what-if scenarios).
- Strong Excel skills (formula design, pivot tables, charts).
- Familiarity with SAP General Ledger system, Concur, or Hyperion/HFM/FCC a plus.
