- Ensure delivery of medications to nursing units.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with United States Pharmacopeia 795, 797, and 800 standards and other regulatory requirements for safe and accurate preparation and compounding of unit-dose oral and intravenous medications, including reconstitution when applicable.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly documentation of completed tasks in designated record-keeping systems.
- Fill unit-dose medication carts for daily delivery and deliver them on time according to the designated workflow.
- Restock pharmacy work areas, pharmacy satellites, and automated dispensing cabinets with medications and supplies as needed.
- Inspect medication storage areas for expired or unusable medications according to regulatory-agency standards.
- Assist pharmacists in processing new medication orders and answering phones.
- Provide accurate, safe, and effective handoffs to other team members.
- Participate in training new employees in the main pharmacy and limited specialized areas when appropriate.
- Participate in the peer review process.
- Six months of previous pharmacy experience is preferred.

By OhioHealth May 6, 2026 4:12 pm ONTARIO, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW) - OhioHealth and Nationwide Children's Hospital will officially break ground on a new, state-of-the-art outpatient care center in Ontario on May 6, marking a significant investment in the health and well-being of families across north central Ohio. The 42,000-square-foot facility, located on West 4th Street on the campus of the current OhioHealth Ontario Health and Fitness Center, will bring a wide range of services together under one roof. This partnership will make it easier than ever for families to access high-quality care close to home. The new center reflects a shared commitment to expand access, elevate patient experience, and meet the growing needs of the Ontario community with more comprehensive care than ever before. In addition to the new building, OhioHealth will renovate and enhance its existing Ontario facility, further expanding services to meet local needs. Planned updates include the development of a specialty care hub, adding new providers and services to support patients across a range of health conditions. The Ontario Health and Fitness Center currently offers urgent care, WorkHealth services, a public fitness center, therapy services, imaging, and primary care. BLADE STAFF Got a news tip? 419-724-6050 Apr 13, 2026 BOWLING GREEN - Wood County Hospital's Wood County Medical Associates (Pediatrics) and Center for Child Development offices are now part of Nationwide Children's Hospital-Toledo. The arrangement was announced by both health care providers on Monday. "This is an exciting step forward for pediatric care in our region," said Stan Korducki, president of Wood County Hospital. "Families will continue to see the same trusted providers and staff at the same locations, now supported by the expertise and resources of Nationwide Children's-Toledo." The two health care organizations established an affiliation in 2021 to collaborate on programs in an effort to ensure pediatric patients receive the highest quality, most cost-effective care, officials said. "Our collaborative partnership with Wood County Hospital has always focused on what's best for kids and families," said Jennifer Strauss, vice president of Nationwide Children's-Toledo. "By bringing these practices into our network, we're ensuring families have access to the highest quality care close to home while continuing to strengthen pediatric services in the community." The new agreement "expands access to high-quality pediatric care and specialized services for children and families in Bowling Green and surrounding areas," officials said. All current services will continue without interruption, and patients will see the same providers and staff.
