Requirements
  • Previous experience in Design Operations, Design Management
  • Strong project management skills and high attention to detail
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise, able to navigate ambiguity with minimal oversight; proactive with a bias for action
  • Familiarity with design tools, design system process, facilitating design sprints
  • You aren't just a box ticker, you care deeply about the quality and connectivity of what you are delivering
  • You are always looking for ways to improve collaboration and consistency for the wider business, and influence beyond the key teams that you work with
  • You'll be a clear communicator, proactive and tenacious when required
  • You'll be adept at building strong relationships, within your immediate team and beyond
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management (up, across, and down)
  • A culture builder who is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Fluent in information management platforms (e.g. Asana, ClickUp, JIRA, Miro, Slack, Confluence)
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a holistic view of design team capacity and facilitate the flow of design projects for your core teams: Backpack Design System, Car Hire and Sustainable Revenue
  • Helping our Product Designers & Content Designers manage programs of work, to ensure effective, high quality delivery, and manage potential risks
  • Manage, maintain and create efficiencies for the design system team and the wider contribution approach
  • Work collaboratively with Product stakeholders to align design plans with roadmap goals
  • Create schedules for design programs and manage team allocation
  • Monitor current processes and help to shape best practice guidelines for Skyscanner
  • Contribute to and lead on horizontal team strategy initiatives
  • Support the team with daily problem solving, and knowledge sharing
  • Be a team culture champion, always sharing the love
