So what will you be doing all day? You would join us as a Project Manager working on things like…
- Providing oversight and coordination on projects for top Henderson clients
- Working in conjunction with other team members across the Grocery & Distribution Sector
- Directing design and communication efforts from concept design through completion according to the client’s requirements
- Prioritizing and executing multiple tasks including preparing proposals and contracts, developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring project performance, and ensure project deliverables meet project objectives and expectations
- Maintaining a strong team camaraderie while resolving project related conflicts and delegating tasks for results-focused efficiency
- Utilizing effective client service skills and providing a key communication link for project coordination
- Traveling for detailed site investigations and client meetings (up to 25%)
- Regularly communicating with national clients and effectively identifying potential or future opportunities in the Grocery & Distribution Practice

- Have a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, construction management, science, technology, or business preferred. Years of relevant experience in management position will be considered in lieu of requisite education.
- Have 8+ years of relevant experience with design and/or construction on a variety of commercial building projects
- Have 4+ years of relevant experience with project management experience
- Have a passion for solidifying and nurturing current client and staff relationships
- Are excited about building our client base through networking and identifying new opportunities
- Possess excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a fundamental understanding of building design and construction principles
- Are organized, detail-oriented, and have a high focus on client/customer service
- Have the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines and meeting client’s needs for responsiveness while maintaining quality design
- Possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license (strongly preferred)
- Possess a project management certification is a bonus but certainly not required
Anticipated salary range for this position may be $80,000 - $103,000.
Salary may be higher or lower than the stated range depending on factors unrelated to the applicant’s race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ethnicity, age, or disability. Salary can vary from this range based on geographic cost of labor statistical differentials.
