Treasury Analyst

Purpose:

Join Athene's growing Treasury team! The Treasury Analyst will provide support to Athene's liquidity and treasury operations by providing accurate and timely execution, operational support, and analytic controls. The Treasury department also interacts with several stakeholders on initiatives that are highly visible to our business.

Accountabilities:

• Provides timely and accurate movement of cash, downloads bank activity from numerous banks, processes internal cash concentration transfers, makes overnight investment decisions, provides cash flow projections
• Compiles and maintains banking relationship files, initiates federal and state tax payments, processes wire and ACH requests, reports on bank activity and reconciles, analyzes and allocates bank charges via the Kyriba Treasury Workstation
• Serves as subject matter expert for bank services. Liaison between banks and internal departments to create solutions for issues related to banking services
• Serves as key resource in developing and implementing process improvements
• Acts as liaison between investment managers, investment accounting, outside managers, clients and banks to achieve accuracy of information, speed of execution, and quality of process
• Maintains comprehensive files describing services, pricing arrangements, authorized signers and key banking contacts
• Provides suggestions and implements the strategic direction of the department through analysis of Treasury Metrics and Issue Log trends
• Stays abreast of treasury/investment trends; Performs other special projects as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ years of progressively responsible and related professional experience preferred
• Experience in Corporate Treasury Department or a bank is a plus
• Working knowledge of Excel and Access is required
• Experience with a treasury management systems is preferred
• Desired skills include: customer service orientation, demonstrated ability to be flexible and change, demonstrated track record of analytical & conceptual thinking
• Certified Treasury Professional designation is a bonus
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, management, or economics or equivalent work experience is required
