About the Position:

Responsibilities:

Provide finance support to PMUs regarding cost, revenue, projections, etc.
Monitor the financial project health to anticipate significant fluctuations and suggest timely remedy actions.
Prepare invoices for Dexis, DPS, and intercompany.
Review Revenue and reconcile Unbilled every month before the closing of the period.
Provide special financial analysis as requested.
Update the work force for each direct project and maintain a clean list of authorized employees, consultants, and subcontractor’s employees in CostPoint.
In coordination with the Director of Finance, maintain accurate and up-to-date contracts’ ceiling and funding data in CostPoint.
In coordination with the Director of Finance create projects codes for new awards and new CLINs/Buy-Ins as requested.
Responsible for the review and accuracy of the Direct costs coming through AP Online.
Keep a close coordination with Contracts (awards, modifications, etc.) and with Accounting (Payroll, Accounts Payable, etc.).
Supervise the Finance Associate.
Prepare indirect rates adjustments as requested.
Provide support with responses to auditor’s requests.
In coordination with the Director of Finance prepare training on Finance areas for PMUs (how to understand and read PSRs, OBDs, application of NICRA to their project projections and the differences between Actual and Target, etc.).
Provide finance support and training to field office staff.
Review project budgets and realignments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Accounting or Finance degree required.
8+ years of experience working with International Development projects in the Finance/Accounting area.
3+ years of experience working with Billing.
USAID experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of FAR, AIDAR, GAAP, and JTR.
Thorough understanding of contract types, including CPFF, FP, and T&M contracts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Proficiency in CostPoint, QuickBooks, and other systems.
Good attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to motivate teams.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work across all parts of the organization.
Demonstrated experience in identifying areas of risk, proposing alternatives for solutions, and focused on compliance.
