  • Bachelor’s Degree (life science preferred)
  • 2+ years of organizational experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical company or translatable experience; can be a combination of internships, work study and post-undergraduate experience

Responsibilities
  • Administer the Global Grants, Sponsorship and Fellowship programs
  • Coordinate review of all received requests with the appropriate committee and complete all associated follow-ups with the external organizations related to contracting, purchase requisitions, budgeting/forecasting, event planning and annual reconciliation
  • Serve as point of contact for management of the grant/sponsorship submission platform
  • Coordinate and contribute to synthesizing Sarepta’s giving strategy on an annual basis
  • Collaborate with Patient Affairs and Medical Affairs leadership to participate in the development of the annual funding strategy and budget for Medical Education, charitable donations and sponsorships, and fellowships
  • Receive, track, and organize incoming requests for financial support in the form of medical education grants, charitable donations, sponsorships, and fellowships
  • Generate meeting agendas and minutes
  • Coordinate review of requests at committee meetings and coordinate any necessary internal offline follow-up to ensure decisions are provided to external requestors within 30-60 days of submission
  • Serve as project coordinator on Med Ed committee; ensure events are coordinated and info distributed across medical/commercial stakeholders in advance of live events and tracking/distribution of metrics; collaborate with marketing/sci comm on materials and or distributions
  • Track and manage contracts and payment, attendance, and other logistics as related to the activity; Ensure all materials associated with approved activities are uploaded to sharepoint; Keep global tracker up to date on weekly basis and keep request status up to date in online submission portal
  • Meet with CME vendors to learn more about their proposals, coordinate proposal assessment with SMEs and project manage vendors if activity is approved
  • Invite Medical Affairs and R&D organization as appropriate to approved activities and webinars
  • Manage portal system and enhancements, reporting bugs, testing new features, training employees as needed
  • Ensure compliance/due diligence is completed for all applications and train new reviewers and work with compliance lead on quarterly reconciliation
  • Create and send monthly communications to senior leadership of approved requests
  • Develop brochures or other communications for HCPs and researchers to communicate programs that Sarepta offers
  • Ensure reconciliation of all requests by year end
  • Develop and/or revise policies as necessary
  • Operate with a high standard of integrity to ensure programs are adhering to global Compliance policies
