The Coupa EMEA Marketing team is looking for a talented Customer Marketing manager to play a pivotal European-wide role that provides cross-department support and collaboration with our Sales, Marketing, Analyst Relations, and Public Relations/Social Media teams. We’re looking for a team member who can build strong internal relationships and understand what’s needed to develop customer relationships that ultimately help us create powerful and results-driven customer stories, drive and accelerate sales and build creative event agenda’s that share customer success.
You’ll foster real connections with customers and find creative ways to engage and motivate advocates to share their stories through reference activities, speaking engagements, customer stories, sales collateral, press events, and more.
The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate for the customer and strengthen our customer-centric culture to deliver a consistent experience as we grow.
This is a remote role and the team try to meet at least once per quarter. There is also the change to travel across Europe and to our APAC offices.
How you will impact Coupa every day:
- Build strong relationships with our EMEA sales teams who you will support by recruiting appropriate customer references for peer-to-peer conversations during the sales cycle.
- Partner closely with the Event Marketing function to engage our customers and build industry-leading community event experiences.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create high-quality assets including case studies, success videos, one-sheets, slides, blog posts, and more.
- Collaborate with marketing, public relations and social media functions to secure quotes, speakers, logos and other materials with customer advocates for events, launches, press materials, media opportunities, and reports.
- Proactively recruit and add new customers to the Coupa Spendsetters reference and advocacy program.
- Track and analyse ROI for the reference program.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- You have demonstrable customer marketing experience, preferably in B2B tech. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to think and act strategically while executing tactically with the following attributes:
- You have strong program management skills and ability to structure and prioritise work in a manner that best fits the team and company needs.
- You love great storytelling and thrive in an environment where you can tell compelling narratives to customers and sales to inspire them to engage with Coupa.
- You have a good knowledge of B2B marketing, B2B SaaS sales cycles, and Customer Marketing best practices.
- You’ll be able to get the best out of the tools that you use - if you have used and trained in Salesforce and Marketo this would be a real benefit to us.
- You’re extremely proactive in your communication and love cross-functional collaboration, particularly with Sales, Customer Success and creative teams.
- You will be curious - ask us why we are doing things and show us where to improve.
- You will have an appetite for knowledge
- A second European language would be really useful.
