Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or other related field and 5 years experience OR Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience bachelor's OR 9 years in lieu of degree
  • Experience with bash scripting.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, preferably Red Hat KVM (e.g., Red Hat KVM, VMware, libvirt/virsh)
  • Networking knowledge (OSI Network Layers, TCP/IP, DHCP)
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Ability to work on site at Middletown RI.
  • Active Security Clearance
  • Current IAT Level I Certifications: Network+, Security+, Linux+
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, system services, application software and system management tools for Linux systems, both natively and within virtual machines
  • Work with team to monitor and test applications, virtual machines, and containers to identify issues with installation and performance.
  • Troubleshoot Information Technology (IT) Systems to diagnose and suggest/implement potential solutions.
  • Support physical hardware installation of IT computing equipment and cabling at both local and remote sites.
