Requirements
  • Be licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Newfoundland and Labrador, or be eligible for licensure.
  • Be injection certified.
  • Have strong clinical, communication, and patient interaction skills.
  • Be self-directed and able to work independently.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with provincial and federal laws, College of Pharmacists of Newfoundland and Labrador standards, and third-party requirements.
  • Provide safe, effective, and patient-centered prescription dispensing.
  • Counsel patients on the proper and safe use of medication, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Support and expand clinical services, including medication reviews, compliance packaging, injections and immunizations, and minor ailment prescribing.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Oversee pharmacy workflow, support technicians and assistants, and ensure efficient operation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous pharmacist experience is preferred.
