Requirements
  • An earned master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in software development, computer information systems, management information systems, information technology, computer science, or a computer-related field, as appropriate to the program.
  • An earned related or out-of-field master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with documented 18 semester hours or equivalent coursework beyond the introductory level in software development, computer information systems, management information systems, information technology, computer science, or a computer-related field, as appropriate to the program.
  • An earned related or out-of-field master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with documentation in two or more of the following: professional certification; two years of in-field professional employment; documented evidence of teaching excellence; documentation of research and publication in the field; or relevant additional coursework equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject-matter coursework, continuing education units, vendor training, or military training.
  • An earned bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in information systems, information technology, or a related field, as appropriate to the program, with documentation in one or more of the following: professional certification in the information technology field; two years of professional employment in the information technology field; documentation of research and publication in the field; or relevant additional coursework equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject-matter coursework, continuing education units, vendor training, or military training.
  • An earned out-of-field bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with documentation in two or more of the following: professional certification in the information technology field; four years of professional employment in the information technology field; documentation of research and publication in the field; or relevant additional coursework equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject-matter coursework, continuing education units, vendor training, or military training.
  • Applicants must submit unofficial transcripts at the time of application; official transcripts are required upon hire.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate student learning by delivering classes in accordance with college policy and course objectives.
  • Provide effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the School.
  • Maintain student attendance and grading records.
  • Engage with students in a meaningful and productive way and create a positive experience with Ivy Tech Community College while following College Policy, Campus Guidelines, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
