The Hemp Beverage Alliance has entered into a partnership with Vermont Information Processing to formally track and report sales data for the hemp beverage industry.
Warburg Pincus has agreed to acquire Vermont Information Processing, a software firm for beverage distributors, for approximately $1 billion, including debt, according to sources. The deal is signed and may be announced soon. Warburg Pincus, a New York-based buyout firm with over $86 billion in assets under management, declined to comment, and Vermont Information Processing has not responded to requests for comment.
