Job Description
Jim Taliaferro Community Health Center is recruiting for a Behavioral Health Case Manager to provide comprehensive case management services to veteran participants in the treatment court program and coordinating services for justice-involved veterans, assisting them with accessing community resources, and supporting their rehabilitation efforts.
The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of case management principles, techniques, and practices; familiarity with veteran-specific challenges, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance use disorders, and the military-to-civilian transition; knowledge of community resources, including veterans’ services, mental health, substance abuse treatment, and housing programs; knowledge of Veterans Affairs (VA) systems and the range of benefits available to veterans; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with veterans, court personnel, service providers, and the community.

Additional Compensation:Along with our great benefits we also offer additional compensation for working outside of normal business hours!
Evening/Nights – extra $3.00 hr.
Weekends – extra $3.00 hr.
Holidays – extra $3.00 hr.
Employee will receive on-call rate and generous shift differentials for after-hours work.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Behavioral Health Case Manager II:Have a minimum of thirty-six (36) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and possess a High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
Orhave sixty (60) college credit hours and twelve (12) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder.
Ora bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field and have a minimum of six (6) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder.
Ora bachelor’s or master’s degree in behavioral health.
Ora current license as a registered nurse in the State of Oklahoma with documented experience in behavioral health care.
Senior Behavioral Health Case Manager II:Same Requirements as aBehavioral Health Case Manager IIplus an additional two (2) years of experience in professional case management behavioral health services.
Special Requirements:
Both job levels are required to complete the Department-sponsored case management certification within 30 days of the start date contingent upon training availability.
