Requirements
  • At least seven years of experience in a development or service administration role using Oracle Fusion Middleware and related integration technologies.
  • At least five years of administration and maintenance experience with HIPAA X12 transaction sets, including 270/271, 274, 276/277, 278, 820, 834, 835, 837I, 837P, 837D, and 997/999/TA1.
  • Experience configuring and administering Oracle Fusion Middleware infrastructure components, including WebLogic Suite, Coherence, Java Standard Edition, SOA Suite 11g/12c, MFT, and Oracle Data Integrator.
  • Experience setting up and maintaining middleware infrastructure across development, test, staging, and production environments.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Service Bus, Oracle B2B, Oracle AIA methodologies, clustering, files, and web services.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion B2B, with two or more years preferred.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining Java and Liferay artifacts.
  • Experience configuring SSL and SSL certificate keystores.
  • Knowledge of migration from Hibernate and Spring Framework to Oracle SOA.
  • Experience with high-performance open-source web technologies.
  • Experience managing, maintaining, and deploying web applications for high-volume sites.
  • Experience with Oracle SOA B2B for trading-partner setup and migration methodologies.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA X12 transactions.
  • Knowledge of WLST scripting.
  • Experience with SSO and web and middle-tier technologies.
Responsibilities
  • Provide architectural and big-picture oversight for new or enhanced software products.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of software architecture across the system.
  • Provide day-to-day technical guidance to development teams.
  • Define system, technical, and application architectures for major development areas.
  • Recommend cost-effective and competitive architectural approaches.
  • Research and implement best-practice frameworks and capability models to control costs, improve quality, and increase service-delivery predictability.
  • Research new technologies and development tools.
  • Support platform deployment, implementation, configuration, and integration of the EDI solution.
  • Ensure component planning and activities align with the integration strategy.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and subject-matter experts on encounter and integration requirements.
  • Collaborate with agency staff and vendors on encounter and operational-data-source integration requirements.
  • Perform performance tuning, infrastructure upgrades, and system-resource optimization.
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions.
  • Support developers with development-oriented activities.
  • Prepare effort estimates, low-level execution plans, and delivery schedules.
  • Develop project documentation, including installation guides, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide Tier III and other project support, investigate and troubleshoot issues, and perform log analysis and security monitoring.
  • Ensure service-level objectives meet stakeholder quality expectations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with emerging technologies and driving new points of view and capabilities.
  • Experience defining and creating functional designs and code in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Experience developing robust, low-defect products and explaining design and implementation details to personnel with differing backgrounds and experience levels.
  • Solid testing and validation skills and understanding of simulated data.
  • Prior experience with waterfall, agile, and other development methodologies, enterprise planning, and estimation.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Science.
  • Integration knowledge of healthcare systems, including CMS Integration Hub.
