The Team:
We’re looking for an Analyst to join us within Commercial Operations. With your knowledge in strong reporting and analysis skills, you will be responsible for adding value through the successful delivery of insights that underpin our Commercial Reporting Team Goals.
The Role:
- Responsible for leading on the delivery of impactful, commercially focused insight and working closely and engaging with a range of stakeholders.
- Lead the Team with Insightful Account, Segmentation and Product reporting to drive optimal decision making, to maximize the customer experience and enhance the commercial outcomes from all customer interactions.
- Be able to help perform Pipeline and Forecasting analysis to understand the drivers for winning and losing business to assist in opportunities whilst mitigating risks.
- Perform accurate data mining and extraction from the relevant structured and unstructured sources to support the development of new insight solutions. Interpret and challenge data using a variety of data modelling tools within (Salesforce/Einstein) and applying statistical techniques to understand key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Translate analysis into insight using appropriate medium to convey the story in a manner- stakeholders understand and can use.
- Ensure the timely delivery of insight solutions and own the processes required to drive efficiencies.
- Suggest the continuous development and Operational automation and solutions to meet evolving business requirements, supporting the Environmental solutions Team where appropriate.
- Promote and support marketing activities to drive increased productivity and revenue opportunities within Commercial and our Business line area.
- Help track Performance and build / create new ideas to streamline processes effectively.
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll bring a strong grounding in the principles of advanced analytics and their application to real-word business problems.
- You’ll bring an excellent commercial awareness and the communication and relationship skills to work effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of reporting techniques, using BI/Tableau, Einstein, SFDC, Excel, and other analytical tools, testing would be desirable.
- Experience building out the reports/solutions from scratch to produce business desired outcomes.
- Knowledge on KPI’s, Forecasting and Key Trend Reports required to drive a successful Commercial Organization.
- Have the desire to work with all departments in driving efficiencies in our systems and processes to cultivate a Lean mentality.
- Have strong Communication skills to reach out to other business units to share knowledge and best practices.
- The ability to translate complex requests into accessible and straightforward recommendations is crucial, alongside having an openness to change, a growth mindset and a desire for continuing personal development. The world of data and insight is constantly changing, as are the needs and desires of our customers, so our role is also to continually evolve our skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- A good understanding of how data & insight is used in commercial decision making and experience of working with others (both analytical and business) to deliver a common goal
- Commercial and strategic mindset with ability to provide analytical solutions to business objectives and problems
- Knowledge and experience in manipulation of data and information to create actionable insight that is conveyed in a compelling story (verbally, visually and written)

Education & Background
Must have a Strong Degree in Statistical Analysis/Computing, Finance and or Other applicable qualification.
4-5 years strong Analytical/Operation/Commercial experience
