Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree and 3 to 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
  • Experience in database cleaning, management, and development is required.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems, including EPIC, is required.
  • Descriptive programming skills are required to support data quality review and validation.
  • Competency in programming languages such as R or Python is required.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate, efficient, and complete data collection from clinical study sites.
  • Write, review, and maintain electronic case report completion guidelines, the data management plan, the data validation plan, and other data management-related documentation.
  • Perform all aspects of the clinical data management process related to data processing and quality control.
  • Clean data for study closeout and perform all database lock procedures.
  • Conduct data quality review and validation activities, including basic descriptive analyses using programming languages such as SAS or Python, as appropriate.
  • Monitor study status and provide status reports to the team.
  • Write and review data management standard operating procedures in accordance with guidelines.
  • Develop associated training and competency testing.
  • Represent the data management function on project teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
