Responsibilities
  • Manage a sales team. Coaches, mentors, and holds team accountable for achieving assigned revenue quotas. Co-travels with team regularly.
  • Develops commercial growth strategies for the region.
  • Directly manages key distributor customer and prospect relationships. Uses key account management concepts to develop champions and influence within major customers and prospects to identify and develop new business.
  • Prepares reports as needed to show the performance of the region and the team.
  • Develops budgets for sales and expenses in the region.
  • Analyzes the region for gaps in distribution coverage, and works actively to fill them. Constantly reviews performance and contractual compliance of distribution partners, making changes as needed to grow sales.
  • Provides feedback to the Marketing team on product and brand promotional strategies. Participates directly in trade shows as needed.
  • Forms KOL relationships and encourages distributors to form KOL relationships.
  • Provides input to Marketing and R&D about the product portfolio, including recommendations for new products or product improvements.
  • Identifies potential acquisition and technology investment targets in the region.
  • Uses platforms like Salesforce/Kenandy to forecast revenue, track opportunities, manage contracts, etc.
Desired Qualifications
