  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
  • Proficient in project scheduling tools and software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Support project managers in the planning and execution of roadway design projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and design for assigned projects.
  • Designs complete projects or components of a project and prepares complete project documents.
  • Apply engineering techniques, methods, and design criteria to support project execution.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • May assign work to junior engineers, technicians, or administrative staff. May be involved in the mentorship and development of junior level staff.
  • May perform other duties associated with this role.
