Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) currently seeks to fill a multidisciplinary role in the Huntsville Hardware Engineering Team. This team provides integration design solutions for land, sea and mobile C4ISR systems.The qualified applicant will be responsible for supporting a team of approximately 120 engineers and staff in an array of technical design-related areas.

This will consist of communication with engineers at various skill level to communicate design format considerations using tact, persuasion and/or negotiation to ensure that designs are prepared in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices.

Anticipated responsibilities

-- 50% CAD design, drawing, and model checking across multiple programs

-- 20% Support development of common drawing practices and techniques

-- 20% Maintain database of common components and approved vendors

-- 10% Education/Training of personnel to ensure use of correct design formats and techniques

Basic Qualification:

This requisition may be filled at either a grade level 3 or level 4.

Salary Range: $57,200.00 - $95,400.00Salary Range 2: $68,000.00 - $113,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
