Requirements
  • Graduate from any stream / Diploma holder
  • PC literacy – Word and Excel (basic level)
  • Good technical knowledge of payroll and payroll systems
  • 5 Plus years experience in US/North America Payroll Exp
  • Supervisory / team-handling experience is mandatory
  • Authorization to work in the employing country with current and future work authorization, without the need for visa sponsorship by Strada
Responsibilities
  • Coordinating with the Transition team during the testing phase
  • Communicating with the Onshore team as per requirement
  • Handling conference calls on a Monthly / Quarterly basis
  • Report progress at a team level – keep PM updated
  • Responsible for ensuring quality documentation is up to date
  • Engaging in periodic resource estimation / planning
  • Analyzing and forecasting attrition (team level) – inform PM as required
  • Controlling attrition / absenteeism / resource utilization
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the team skills matrix & other process documents
  • Conducting daily/weekly production feedback sessions – providing feedback on quality and SLA issues and team targets
  • Analyzing team performance and identifying training needs / conducting one‑to‑one meetings with subordinates
  • Ensuring process / refresher training is conducted as required
  • L&D & HR interface – training nominations, RnR nominations – providing inputs to PM
  • Appraisals – Midterm/Annual – provide feedback and inputs on team members to PM
  • Appraisals – providing feedback to PM
  • Coordinating joining and exit formalities – ID/Login creation, etc., for new team members; resignation formalities – keep PM updated
  • Tracking attendance / absenteeism of the team – inform PM
  • Payroll interface – collecting and distributing salary slips/cheques of team
  • Ensuring grievances are handled effectively and escalating as required
  • Responsible for leave planning
  • Conducting one‑on‑one sessions with the team
  • Ensuring production through optimal work allocation and monitoring
  • Resolving daily queries and problems of team members
  • Creating, allocating, and tracking work/jobs using appropriate software as specified – inform PM as required
  • Responsible for shift monitoring and control
  • Daily reporting – Minutes of Meeting (MOM), etc.
  • Collecting team metrics
  • Analysis of errors/issues and creation of root cause analysis documents
  • Responsible for timely escalation of issues/problems that require PM or client attention
  • Ensuring issue resolution
  • Providing feedback on quality issues
  • Ensuring continuous improvement of team metrics
  • Raising calls and coordinating with IT systems to ensure process compliance
  • Ensuring quality compliance for all processes handled – checklists, standards, etc.

[Global] Strada's GPCI reveals a turning point for payroll transformation. The global people, payroll, and technology provider Strada has released its 2025 Global Payroll Complexity Index (GPCI), a trusted benchmark for global payroll complexity. Now in its seventh edition and running for over a decade, the 2025 GPCI reveals a payroll landscape that, while still highly demanding, is beginning to stabilise. This year's results highlight the evolution of payroll regulation worldwide, with traditionally stable markets showing greater variation, and average country scores rising by 5 per cent. Europe continues to lead in complexity, with seven of the ten most challenging payroll markets and France remaining the world's most complex payroll market. In North America, the United States reportedly entered the top 10 for the first time, climbing eight places with a 17 per cent increase, while Canada held steady in fifth despite a further 9 per cent rise. Steep increases in complexity elsewhere reinforce how quickly requirements can evolve. Australia surged eight places into the global top three following a 21 per cent rise in its score, driven by broader deduction frameworks, greater stakeholder access to payroll data and more varied payment methods.
