Requirements
  • Successful completion of a formal technical training program with a minimum of three years of service experience is required.
  • Must have engine, transmission, electrical, hydraulic, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment in the shop.
  • Must be a self-starter with good time management and the ability to meet time requirement guidelines.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills are required.
  • Must be able to work overtime and some weekends when needed.
  • Excellent written, email, and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75–100 pounds and provide personal tools.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, including no more than two minor violations within the past three years and no major violations within the past five years; a Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on the final candidate.
Responsibilities
  • Tear down Caterpillar equipment to salvage parts and components.
  • Remove, clean, fix, and rebuild parts and components.
  • Provide customer service to all customers.
  • Operate equipment safely to unload equipment.
  • Establish and maintain service-oriented relationships with customers and supervisors.
  • Ship and receive parts and store them for inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
