  • A higher-education qualification at BAC+3/5 level in computer science or an equivalent field.
  • At least five years of significant experience as a QA Engineer or Test Lead, with confirmed specialization in Atlassian and ServiceNow tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
  • Proficiency with an integrated test-management tool such as Xray or Zephyr.
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow, including its platform, ITSM and ITIL modules, and the native Automated Testing Framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement automated tests and scripts using REST APIs, Jira-ServiceNow integrations, and JQL queries.
  • Understanding of integrating automated tests into continuous deployment cycles and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of ISTQB concepts and defect-management methodologies.
  • Ability to map complex inter-application flows, isolate anomalies, and propose effective remediation actions.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate a team of testers, communicate quality risks to business and management stakeholders, and use English.
  • Ability to collaborate with product owners, developers, and tool administrators and act as the QA reference.
  • Ability to take initiative, define test methodologies, and propose delivery improvements.
Responsibilities
  • Lead detailed analysis of functional and technical requirements to define test strategies for Jira workflows and ServiceNow ITIL modules.
  • Provide technical expertise on testing and automation tools integrated with the Atlassian and ServiceNow ecosystems.
  • Support testing and development teams during platform operational maintenance and the build of new functionality.
  • Participate in the design, creation, execution, and operation of functional, regression, and end-to-end integration test plans.
  • Track test roadmaps across streams and coordinate qualification efforts between Atlassian and ServiceNow teams.
  • Identify and assess technical innovations, testing plugins such as Xray, and automation capabilities such as ServiceNow Automated Testing Framework in collaboration with product owners and architects.
  • Share QA best practices, testing methodologies, and lessons learned with the team.
  • Work with stakeholders to define impacts on incident, change, and request-management processes while ensuring alignment with the overall strategy.
  • Define the project's QA roadmap, including test governance, environments, key milestones, tools, and resources.
  • Lead the delivery of test strategies, campaign reports, and quality indicators in accordance with ISTQB methodological standards.
  • Implement automated tests, proactively address detected defects, and escalate major regression risks when necessary.
  • Define and continuously track test-coverage and bug-density indicators to assess release maturity and quality before deployment.
  • Communicate effectively within project governance and with IT management and platform owners.
