Requirements
  • Detailed understanding of Income statement, Balance sheet and Statement of Cash flow is a must
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2-4 years of Accounting or Finance experience
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks; familiarity with other softwares a plus

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end monthly close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries
  • Ensure accurate and timely customer billing; support the development of a scalable and automated billing system
  • Perform cash and bank account reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow reporting
  • Review and reconcile employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions
  • Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare internal accounting documentation in support of the company’s first external audit
  • Support federal, state, and local tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial reporting projects and internal analysis requests
  • Identify, recommend, and help implement improvements to accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls
