Basic Function:
The Comfort Advisor position is a full-time commission-based employee, to be paid a % of jobs sold. Duties include, but not limited to, the sales of HVAC products in Residential and light Commercial applications.
Our commitment to you is to spend the time needed and give you the tools for your success. We will do all we can to get you ready within a 30-day training period to get you started selling quality products to our clients on your own (each individual timeline may vary).
Essential duties
- Commitment to providing the highest quality products and services to our clients.
- Performing a Load Calculation to determine proper sizing of equipment.
- Fill out an evaluation sheet.
- Electrical Panel information, wire sizing.
- Determining if existing refrigeration lines are properly sized or if new ones are needed.
- Understand air flow and proper duct design.
- Measure mechanical closets – attic access.
- Get familiar with local and state codes.
- Must educate him/herself with products used by Cool Air Solutions.
- Must educate him/herself with any rebate programs that are extended to clients.
- Must educate him/herself with all financing programs used by Cool Air Solutions.
- Must be organized.
- Must have exceptional communication skills in English.
- Must possess a high level of professionalism.
- Must possess problem solving skills.
- Must possess a high level of integrity.
- Must be able to work with a team (support group).
- Must possess good time management skills (be on time to appointments).
- Must have computer skills (understanding) to perform contracts and presentations to clients.
- Must gather the necessary photos required for installations.
- Must participate in all company training offered to you (paid or unpaid).
Qualifications:
- The ability to represent Cool Air Solutions in the community with positive results.
- Highly technical ability to communicate well with others.
- Submit completed paperwork in a timely manner and track the process to ensure a timely installation.
- The ability to manage time as to return calls for clients, internal, external, and prospects in a timely manner.
- Ability to represent Cool Air Solutions, Inc. in a professional manner with clients, vendors, staff and the general public.
- To have a complete understanding of all required paperwork and ensure it is completed
- Must have a valid drivers’ license and a good driving record.
- Adaptability – the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Detailed oriented with the ability to ensure that all processes are followed through completion
- Requires spending a minimum of two hours a week following up on old leads.
Working Conditions:
- This position works in the field 90% and in the office 10%. Travel is mostly local driving. Exposure to driving hazards. This position works in a standard office environment. The office environment is controlled and maintained in a safe manner. Must occasionally travel to meet clients or vendors. Is exposed to driving hazards. Adherence to Safety Policy and Driving Safety Policy is vital.
