Requirements
  • BS in a relevant engineering discipline
  • 5+ years certification experience working with FAA, EASA, or other regulatory agencies
  • Expertise with aircraft regulations (14 CFR Part 21, 23, 27, 33, and/or 36)
  • Experience with regulatory guidance, policy, means of compliance approaches, and type certification processes
Responsibilities
  • Work with a team of fellow engineers to plan, build, and manage the certification process
  • Review current generation hardware, electrical, and mechanical designs for various projects and aircraft systems
  • Collaborate with design engineers to enhance protections for prototypes and new designs
