  • 5+ years certification experience working with the FAA, EASA or other regulatory agencies
  • Expertise with aircraft regulations (14 CFR Part 21, 23, 27, 33, and/or 36)
  • Application Life Cycle Management Software (DOORS, Polarion, JAMA, JIRA, etc)
  • Type Certification Program Planning

Responsibilities
  • Work with a team of fellow engineers to plan, build, and manage the certification process
  • Review current generation hardware, electrical and mechanical designs for various projects and aircraft systems
  • Work with design engineers to add additional protections for existing prototypes and new designs
  • Contribute as a team member to plan, build, and manage the certification strategy, artifacts, and timelines
