Ironworker

Job Title: Ironworker (Non and NCCER Certified)
Location: Notrees, TX
Pay: $37.50-$40.00/hr + $125 Per Diem
Schedule: 13/1's - Day or Night Shift availability required

Description:
RWDY is looking for experienced Ironworkers to work on the construction of a direct carbon capture plant.

Responsibilities:

• Lay out, position, align, and fit steel components for installation.
• Connect columns, beams, and girders using bolts and blueprints. 
• Use rigging and cranes to move equipment and materials. 
• Check alignment using levels, lasers, transits, and plumb bobs. 
• Cut, bend, and weld steel using torches, shears, and welding equipment. 
• Set up and operate welding equipment as needed. 
• Follow supervisor instructions and project requirements. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of industrial construction or maintenance experience.
• NCCER certification preferred.
• Knowledge of MSDS/SDS requirements.  
• Must have required tools for the trade. 
• Must pass a drug test and complete an audiogram. 
• Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces, potentially over 300 ft. 
• Must be available for overtime, nights, and weekends. 
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
