The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver. We are seeking a talented Technical Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, creative thinking, project management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions to our enterprise clients. As a Technical Project Manager at Intr, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Utilize deep knowledge and understanding of the creative and development lifecycle of enterprise-grade web / platform projects.
- Proficiency in project-managing digital platforms that involve complex user flow, design system, technical insights and planning, integration of tools such as CMS and API
- Create, document and manage project parameters including scope, schedule, budgets & statements of work
- Manage, motivate, and ensure thorough communication with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams including creatives, developers, product owners and dev ops in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor resources, establish project plans and processes to avoid scope creep, budget overages, or efficiency issues
- Deliver projects on time within agreed upon parameters at the highest level of quality
- Work collaboratively with other producers and support the MDs in various administrative tasks
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, identifying and mitigating risks and dependencies proactively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Proactively communicate with clients about production recommendations, risks, challenges, solutions and closely manage expectations
- Conduct regular project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-mortems, fostering effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and quality standards, continuously optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to refine our project management practices and deliver better outcomes for our clients.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience (4+ years) in web/digital project management, preferably in a digital agency, product management, or enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com, GitLab, Basecamp, G-Suite, Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
