Requirements
  • Ideally a university degree at either Bachelor or Masters level (including MBA)
  • Experience in Investment Banking and / or Private Equity is required (TMT experience is preferred, but not a prerequisite)
  • Technical experience including operational, financial, valuation and M&A analysis as well as relevant marketing materials for M&A and / or capital markets transactions
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Candidates applying for this role must be aware that it is a Certified Role, subject to the FCA and PRA Certification Regime.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with an exceptional team of senior and junior bankers in executing market-defining M&A advisory and capital markets transactions
  • Leverage your previous experience to enhance our M&A execution and capital raising capabilities
  • Take on a meaningful client-facing role, playing an important part in client discussions as part of both execution and marketing
  • Manage and mentor analysts by providing guidance and feedback, managing information flow, and having oversight of the analysts with whom you are working
  • Demonstrate ownership of deal execution and marketing efforts, and assume responsibility for managing external and internal relationships
  • Contribute in a meaningful way towards the continued growth of Citi’s Communications franchise
