  • BS and/or BA in relevant field; MBA strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience in the renewable energy industry
  • Comfort with being the face of the company; Experience attending and speaking at events, trade shows, and customer meetings with enthusiasm
  • Strong knowledge of renewable project development and the economics of renewables and storage
  • Existing customer relationships - a potential book of business - that you can bring to the company
  • Direct, hands-on experience negotiating power purchase agreements with commercial and/or utility customers
  • Lifecycle customer relationship management skills and experience with CRM tools
  • Mastery of US C&I and utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage markets
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with a high sense of urgency, strong sense of agency
  • Experience building and leading a remote, high-performance sales team
Responsibilities
  • Build the Go-To-Market Strategy and initial pipeline of opportunities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, ensuring that the company’s solutions meet their business needs
  • Manage customer relationships and develop a strong pipeline of business opportunities across the USA, driving sales and cementing the company’s position and market share in its segment
  • Develop sales, marketing, and product marketing strategies to grow the customer base
  • Manage the sales lifecycle cycle of the product, catering to utility, commercial, industrial, and governmental/MUSH sectors
  • Gather and share competitive and market data to aid in strategic planning, pricing, and product evolution
