- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in functional testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) principles.
- Proven ability to design, write, and execute effective test cases from requirements.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail) and bug tracking systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A keen interest in and basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning concepts, particularly how they apply to software features.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to review and validate product requirements, specifications, and design documents, ensuring clarity and testability from an early stage.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive and detailed test cases (manual and exploratory) based on functional, non-functional, and user experience requirements.
- Perform thorough functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across various platforms, browsers, and devices.
- Prioritize test cases based on risk, impact, and business criticality to optimize testing efforts and ensure efficient release cycles.
- Contribute to the continuous optimization and refinement of existing test suites, identifying opportunities for consolidation and efficiency gains.
- Conduct functional and user experience testing specifically for features that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI/ML components, validating their outputs, behavior, and overall user interaction.
- Perform functional testing to ensure the application correctly handles multiple languages, locales, and cultural conventions.
- Accurately report, track, and manage defects through their lifecycle in a bug tracking system. Collaborate with development teams for effective defect triage and timely resolution.
- Participate in and provide constructive feedback for crowd testing initiatives, analyzing the results to gain diverse user perspectives and identify critical issues.
- Analyze user feedback, support tickets, and other data sources to identify quality trends and contribute to insights regarding product quality and user sentiment.
- Experience with basic SQL queries for backend data validation.
- Familiarity with API testing concepts (e.g., using Postman).
- Any exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) is a plus.
- Experience testing applications with internationalization features.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) principles in testing.
