Requirements
  • 4+ years of accounting experience with ownership of accounts payable and accounts receivable operations
  • Hands-on ERP experience (QuickBooks Online preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables and lookups

Responsibilities
  • Own the AP/AR process, including processing vendor invoices, customer invoices, and payments while building relationships with vendors and internal teams
  • Monitor collections, resolve billing inquiries with the sales and campaign teams, and maintain accurate customer accounts
  • Assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation alongside the Controller and CFO
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards regularly to ensure leadership reporting is timely and accurate
  • Process employee expense reports in Brex and support compliance workflows with team leads and Ops
  • Maintain organized financial records in compliance with retention policies for easy access and audit readiness
  • Manage and improve the integrity of QuickBooks Online and related integrations (Brex, Rippling, and other third-party tools)
  • Partner with Ops to maintain payroll, tax compliance, and HRIS/payroll integrations
  • Identify inefficiencies and design improvements to accounting workflows and systems, creating automation, integration, and reporting solutions that scale with company growth
  • Support timely payments to creators and influencers, ensuring accuracy and on-schedule processing in collaboration with the customer facing teams

Gamesight released their annual State of Performance Marketing Report, in which it provides insight in what kind of platforms and advertising strategies are effective for game studios. According to its latest findings, optimized marketing revolves around a tailored strategy, with different platforms offering different advantages for reaching particular audiences or retaining their attention long-term. Gamesight’s report shows that finding the right platform on which to advertise can bring a much better return on investment than broader approach.One of the report’s takeaways was the strengths of different platforms. For example, of the two major video-based sites for gamers, Twitch offers 3x higher conversion rates, thanks largely to its unskippable ad format and targeted approach; while YouTube has a 54% retention rate, one of the highest among ad networks, and better long-term engagement.Other revelations from the report include the untapped potential of Reddit, which has recently overhauled its ad system and offers 52% seven-day retention rates. It also offers hyper-contextual targeted ad programs and category takeovers that allow marketers to push ads directly to top communities related to their game’s genre.
