  We work on 'problems of scale' on the data and control planes and learn about complex distributed systems. Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems. Work closely with other development teams, testers, documentation writers and product management to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.   About the Team
  At Nutanix, you will be joining the Objects team, a dynamic and diverse group of individuals spread across the US and India.   You will report to the Naveen G Technical Director, a seasoned professional who values mentorship and supports team members in reaching their full potential. The work setup at Nutanix is hybrid, requiring employees to be in the office three days a week. This allows for a balance between in-person collaboration and remote work flexibility.
  Your Role
  • Feature development for Nutanix objects.
  • Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems and debugging issues in the customer environment
  • Work closely with other development teams, testers, documentation writers and product management to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment
  • BTech/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in storage or related fields.
  What You Will Bring
  • Experience with storage systems and/or analytics
  • Understanding of scalable distributed systems
  • Proficiency in either of the following languages: C++/Go
  • Experience working on Linux
  • Breadth of systems - across data and control planeGood to know:
  • Stats, Alerts and Analytic frameworks
  • RPCs and RESTful APIs
  Work Arrangement
  • Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
