DC Engineer Consultant

Key Responsibilities Cloud Strategy & Engineering Leadership Lead the design, implementation, and governance of public cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS). Build and manage a core internal engineering team and outsourced migration teams globally. Develop and maintain a library of cloud design patterns and reusable architecture components. Define and implement cloud monitoring, risk management, and operational capabilities across global availability zones. Cloud Integration & Delivery Oversee infrastructure migration, technology refresh, and application upgrades across multiple entities. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and compliance frameworks. Drive engineering delivery across strategic and BAU initiatives, ensuring timely and quality outcomes. Technical Expertise & Solutioning Act as SME for cloud infrastructure engineering, including virtualization, orchestration, and scalability. Evaluate and recommend cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS) for public and hybrid models. Lead DevOps integration and automation efforts for cloud deployments. Define high availability and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-hosted applications. Governance & Risk Management Establish and enforce technology governance policies in collaboration with enterprise architecture, security, audit, and risk teams. Ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal and external standards. Participate in cloud RFPs and vendor evaluations. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with IT Security, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Operations, Application Development, and Program Management teams. Engage with regional and country IT heads, sponsors, and business stakeholders to align engineering solutions with strategic goals. Provide technical leadership and mentorship across engineering teams.
